16 Year Old Angel With Cancer

I am asking that all who are moved to do so, to please join me in praying for God to heal this young girl. The doctors have stopped the fight after 16 months and have sent her home with 2 months remaining.

Shawndra Wilcox, 16, was diagnosed with cancer in Feb 2000. The doctors believed 2 weeks ago that they would be able to go ahead with a bone marrow transplant, since one of her brothers was a perfect match. However, this last weekend, she had a seizure and the doctors have decided that the tumor in her brain is beyond medical help. I was moved this morning to access every channel available to raise Shawndra up in prayer. I have asked for her to be held up in prayer at several of our local churches this morning and will continue through all of them this week. Shawndra has been in Childrens' Hospital since last summer, and has been an angel from God and a blessing to the parents of other patients there. The Lord's light shines in her and I feel she has so many wonderful works still ahead of her. I also know if it is His will, that He has great plans for her in Heaven.
