Beloved father and grandfather who has a cancerous brain tumor

We'd like for people to pray for a wonderful father and grandfather who has a malignant brain tumor.

It was a shock to discover that my husband's father had brain cancer. After testing, the tumors were discovered to be malignant. He is a strong, vital man and has withstood surgery, chemotheraphy and radiation very stoically. However, the tumors grew back and his physical strength deteriorates. We'd like prayers for a recovery that would give us a few more years and provide him with a reasonable quality of life, also giving us the strength to withstand what is to come. He is young enough and strong enough for us to believe this is a terrible thing, though we understand it is our turn and no one is immune to suffering. Please pray for him. Thank you.

	moorebabe 11/9/2000 15:17	Dear Brent, You are now in a marathon race; I know that you are not alone; ask the Lord to take the fear away; he will wrap you in his grace and allow you time to leave your family with many acts and words of wisdom. Our daughter will be undergoing a breast biopsy on Nov. 17th and we are in pray for her health--she is 18 years old. Her faith is keeping me strong and she is trying to carry this burden alone, but I am a strong believer in pray, so I have turned to others in her hour of need. My prayers are with you! God Bless.
