Pray for an end to suffering!

In the United States alone, 285 members of God's family are slaughtered every second. With your help and your prayers, we can do something about it.

Our Father in Heaven:

Make me an instrument of your peace.

Water for those who thirst,
Relief for those in pain,
A voice to those who are silent.

Help me bring your peace to the non-human members of your family. Let me look on all your creation with reverence, for they were created for their own sake and are pleasing to You, whom I love above all things.

Forgive your human daughters and sons who use your creation for pleasure, profit or personal gain. Help them to see the way of peace and non-violence.

Infuse me with the desire to spread peace to all your family, and let us live together without exploitation or bloodshed

For these things I pray, through your only son, Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Please help me become the best I can be, so I may help them in the best way. Please remove my laziness and fears so I can help them better. And please send all the suffering comfort and protection, Please also help people who hurt animals, so they may see its good to be compassionate and kind to them. 	peco 12/14/2003 00:49	Pray for the animals that feel and fear and are confused by the pain of their lives as they are reduced to meat in the making. Dear Lord, help more people see that cruelty to one of your creations is a mark against us all. You have shown us that compassion is extended to all, not to some. And if we are not compassionate then we are indifferent to the pain of others. For all the animals who share this earth, you gave them life as you did all else. Please let us hear words in their sounds, feel love for their gestures and respect for the unknowable uniqueness that all creatures possess. In that unknowableness, dear Lord, the animals are closer to you than we who claim to understand. Teach us to to be kind, cause no harm and live with simplicity in your love. Amen.

	mishquashim 1/27/2007 09:20	Dear infinite intelligence, guide all of humanity to learn to respect and love all of nature. animals are precious, and people must come to treat them all with respect and kindness. remind humanity in some way that animals are a special part of life on earth, and that we can't live without them, so we must treat them with kindness. animals feel, just like we do. we must remember that.
