Premie girl doing well!!

Our lovely girl is so blessed. She came 3 months early and to the surprise and awe of the medical staff, is doing well in the ICU. She is one month old today!

We've recently found that she has a brain hemorrage which could lead to serious disability... or could be nothing at all. My selfish prayer is that it's nothing at all. ...that the ventricle will be drained of blood and there is no swelling in her brain. ...that her brain will grow and function well.

This is our first child and my husband and I feel so fortunate to have Kitty in our life. We deeply believe that prayer works and we've put her life in God's hands.

	bumblebee2 5/28/2001 00:13	My first child was born 5 weeks premature. He spent the first 4 weeks of his life in the hosital with a feeding tube. God took care of him and today he is a healthy 11 year old!! Please don't get discouraged if your child isn't doing things that other babies her age are doing. They will be behind in their development for about the first year. God will lead her and guide her in her development. I pray for her strength and that she will overcome the hemorrage.
