Steve inCalifornia
My friend's husband

Steve's doctors have just discovered a tumor in his brain that is cancerous. He went into surgery and came out ok but then he began hemorraging. The tumor is fast growing and the doctors have said there isn't much they can do for him.

Steve's wife and I went to high school together. We didn't talk and she belonged to the popular crowd. She contacted me through an alumni message board and I wasn't very receptive about the contact. We worked past my grievances and have been talking for a couple of months.

We've discussed several things including her husband, Steve, and her 2 small children. She has amazing love for her family.

Steve is a police officer in Southern California.

Please join me in praying that he lives a healthy life for as long as possible and that when the Lord and Lady decide that it's time for his passing that he passes peacefully.

may the Lord and Lady hold them all in their arms.

For Comfort
For Strength
For Healing
For Love

My thoughts, my prayers, and my heart is with them in their time of need.

May Steve's faith comfort him in the days ahead, as my mother's did when she coped with and passed from the same illness over 2 years ago. May Steve's family find the courage and strength to be there with him and for him and his wife, to be a comfort and support in this difficult time. I add my prayers to the Circle, joining with Dawnmychel in this act of love.

I don't really have the words to say right now. I hope you all can understand. I really want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers for our family. I really appreciate all your love and support. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful family and friends. I am very deeply sorry and extremely sad to tell all of you that Steve (my husband) passed away today (my birthday), May 7, 2001 at 5:45 p.m. from complications from his surgery to try to remove a very maligant tumor in his brain. Please say a pray for Steve so that he may not be scared and for my children while I tell them about their father and for all of us as we go through some very difficult times ahead. I wish that all of you will remember that life is so precious and those little things in life that upset you really don't matter. I would give anything to have him back in our lives right now. Please kiss and hug your family and tell them how much you love them and never take one single day for granted.

May the Lord and Lady hold this family in their arms and guide Steve to the Summerland
