Prayer Circles

im looking.i believe but still i feel i need help.

There's so much information out there about "God" and what "God" really is. How does one distinguish through all that? When bits and pieces of so many faiths, beliefs, and philosophies could be plausible, and yet at times so contradictory.

I would like to know that there really is a reason, a purpose for all that happens. I have friends who believe this, and yet I can't. At least not wholeheartedly. Any feedback?

I understand what you are saying. There were many times before I found my path that I questioned what "God" really is. I felt that the word "God" was a word used too broadly. Until I found what was comfortable to me, I never had a "God" or a deity. I had a Higher Power. Your Higher Power can be anything you want it to be. To me, the term Higher Power is free of labels and everything that goes along with the word
"God". This helped me tremendoulsy through my period of time while I was searching. Maybe it can help you too!!

I firmly believe there is a GOD and that somehow things do happen for a reason. I still have many doubts but about GOD's existence NEVER!!!!!

Please Lord, grant me the faith in your support and your wisdom to stand back from my situation and not interfere with the unfolding of events. I know with my mind that I am not as wise and all-knowing as you and that you will have a resolution to this situation which I would never be able to forsee and that your resolution will be the best in the long run for all persons involved, but please grant me the faith and trust in you to know these things with my whole heart. May I have the faith and trust to surrender my will to yours and to allow your solution to unfold unhindered.

i'm lost and confused and i know there is alot missing in my heart, i cant seem to keep it together.i dont know which way to go or where to start or how to get there all i do know is i need god to clense me and make me whole. please i've prayed for deliverance for years since i was a child and still i suffer from myself. i don't know what to do. pray for me and my family. thank u.

I pray for all in need like myself, for the strength to go on - to have faith that our grave concerns will end in our favor. It is the 'dimension of our tests' that challenges how much faith we have - let us remember those who are challenged with life events beyond their strength. It is how I feel sometimes ... and am fearful of the outcome, but continue to pray for strength anyway. I pray for those who feel past that stage, who need God's intervention so desperately.
