Dear Raymond and Family
Approx 13 years ago, I was in your shoes, despite the fact that my husband worked 2 jobs and I part-time worked at 3 jobs we were never able to make the ends meet. I had a wonderful brother who advised me to get things in order and then things would change. I wasn't sure about all of this at first, but what did I have to lose. I had already lost our home, our car and all our financial stability. We made the decision to start by getting into a right relationship with God and church shopped until we found one that fitted our family needs. Then we got into the word of God and started to obey it. We don't work on Sunday, we use it as a total family day and a real day of rest. After attending our morning service we have a large family luncheon, we play family games or go for a walk, this is not a day to balance the checkbook or do chores, it is the day to spend with our family and relax. Next, as difficult as it was in the beginning we began to tithe on our gross earnings. The miracle of this was that we ended up having more money, I know it doesn't make sense but it is the truth we ended up with more. We got involved with our church and started to share God with others and we shared what was going on in our lives. Now I also want to say that it didn't mean that we didn't have any more problems, it just meant that we had a new best friend to not only share them but to also support us through them. When he says his yoke is light let me encourage you his yoke is light. I will pray for you that you will find a bible believing church and get started to meet my best friend. Thanks for Listening. My Mom, My Dad and My Family needs prayer: This has been a very tough year for my family January 2000 started off with my sister in law being diagnosed with terminal cancer, praise be to God she has no sign of the cancer now. Then in June of 2000 my Mom suffered a heart attack, she survived it and came back much stronger. My Dad and Mom celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 29, 2000 it was a whopping success. Praise by too God. My son (Dallas) suffered a brain injury, please pray for Dallas and for the boy who hurt him, Dallas is recovering amazingly but still has some cognitive brain damage and it is effecting his reading and writing areas of learning. We purchased a vehicle from a Christian used dealership only to be scammed for $30,000.00 please pray for us as we are part of a police investigation because of what this man did. The vehicle was stolen and rebuilt with stolen parts. Then My Dad was diagnosed with Pulminary Fibrosis which is a disintegration of the lungs and the heart values, it is a very slow and painful death. He really needs to reestablish a relationship with Christ. Then I broke my right arm which in itself wouldn't be disasterous but mix it in with everything else and what a mess. Six weeks later my Mom fell down the basement stairs and broke her arm in the exact same spot. Last Sunday Feb. 27 my Mom suffered a stroke which has left her very weak on the left side. I know this sounds impossible to be happening to one person but let me convince you this has been my life for the last 2 years. Now financially things are coming to the surface and we are having to face a mountain of bills and not sure where the money is going to come from, however I do believe that God answers prayer and I am asking that you will please pray for me and my family and for peace to amongst my brothers and sisters.
