need all your prayers and advise, to continue sobriety, and gain patience with myself, and my children

I had 3 years, and 22 days sober, and relapsed. Now, I desparately want to get back on track. I can forgive myself for the relapse, it happens. But it seems Satan is coming at me in all directions. My children suffered greatly for my drinking and drugging. My son is 9, and has ADHD, Bipolar, and intermitant rage disorder. I find myself losing patience with him. Beginning to think, maybe the rod would straighten him out. My daughter, 14 seems to feel lost. She says i love him more, because i have to watch his every move. He demands attention, weather good or bad. I have also ask my husband to leave, he is attively drinking, and i don't want the kids around it anymore. If you could pray for us, and him. My son misses him desparately. I feel such guilt. I am clinically depressed, and find myself doing nothing to move forward, or to make our life better. Please, I need your prayers. Thank you, patty van hoose

Dear God, Please guide Patty and her family as you have guided me. Please help her to learn the wisdom of the serenity prayer, so that she can find the courage to change. Patty, I pray for you as a fellow alcoholic, and someone who has live with depression. I pray that your path will become clear. I pray for your children. You possess great strenght, and I pray that you keep your strength and courage. I pray that your dear son may find peace from the intermittent rage, which I know must break your heart. I pray that your daughter finds that she is loved. God's light and blessing shine upon you and your family. I pray that your husband also finds what so many of us have found in the fellowship of AA. Amen.

To the mother:

My prayers are with you in these difficult times.
-I pray that you will grow and keep your sobriety this time. After a person goes out it is difficult to rebuild the trust within yourself and the trust you have in any program and in God. Might I suggest that you stay in His word as a defense to the thinking that tells you you can drink or should because circumstances are difficult.
Also, your son is in a fragile state now so it is best to remember that. Stay in prayer as to his situation and ask God diligently and daily what to do for him. He is a product of a great deal of confusion and is probably dealing with trust issues himself since your relapse. Be Kind.

Help us O Lord, with patient love to bear
each other's faults; to suffer with true meekness;
Help us each other's joys and griefs to share,
But let us turn to thee alone in weakness.

Patty, I just want to let you know that everything is going to be o.k. Just trust in the lord, know that he will never leave you nor forsake you, he knows what's in your heart and will always love you. He's put it in my heart to love you and I truly do. Trust in God, talk to him and don't forget to listen.

Lord bind the spirit of alcohol addiction and strengthen her and her family. Let her know that her kids do love her and that they are wishing the best for her. Bring her out of the darkness and if she has already stepped out thank you lord, help her to stay out. cover her with your blood and forgive her of her sins.
