Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly- not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.
Peter 5:2

Putting personal gain over the greater good is a travesty of trust. Great leaders know their role is to make decisions that help the people they serve. Great leaders also know their power comes from one source: God. Peter 5:2 is the perfect scripture for leaders. May all leaders in a position of power use their might wisely, compassionately and with the best intentions.
