Sunday was Father’s Day and we celebrated with my Dad, my husband who is a Dad and my son who is a Dad. Four generations eating BBQ together. My grandson Jake lost his first tooth the night before and found pennies from heaven (in the form of a dollar bill) under his pillow. Cha-ching.
Pennies from heaven, lucky breaks or blessings. Does it matter? I only know that when I share the everyday routine of my business life, my social life and my family life with God, more and better things happen. I believe in magic and miracles. I believe that You said it, and that settles it. Everything comes to me at just the right time, in symmetry, in synchronicity, in Your time.
I await You in perfect repose. There is nothing more that needs to be done. No furious flailing, no sackcloth and ashes.
I remember my prayer- not even a year ago: "Make me stronger." You revealed to me the unerring equation: Hardship + Prayer = Steel
Help me to stand on my own two feet and, at the same time, lean fully on You.
