Patrul Rinpoche in Japan
Public Talk at Joenji Temple

November 19, 19:00-21.00 Public talk at Joenji Temple Talk: "How to work with negative emotions within a Buddhist framework" Tibetan-English translation Suggested donation: 1000 yen Location, Joenji Temple, B1 floor, 2-7-15 Nishi-Sinjuku-Ku, Tokyo

Dzogchen Ranyak Patrul Rinpoche was born in eastern Tibet, in 1963. He has been recognized as the authentic reincarnation, or tulku, of the great 19th century scholar adept, Dza Patrul Rinpoche, by H.H. Dalai Lama, H.H. Mindrolling Trichen Rinpoche and H.H. Dzogchen Rinpoche. He is one of the principle lineage holders of the Longchen Nyingthig teachings within the Nyingma School. Patrul Rinpoche currently resides in Belgium, from where he travels at the request of his many students to countries all over Europe and Asia. He visited Japan for the first time in November 2003 and we are extremely happy that he has promised to come back to teach once or twice a year.
