Ken Edelson
Celebrating Ken's Coming of Age


Congratulations on your rite of passage in the Unitarian Church. It's been a wonderful spiritual and community life.

On Sunday, May 4, Ken and fifteen of his Unitarian Univeralist peers achieved the Coming of Age rite of passage at the Unitarian Church. This wonderful skateboarding guy presented his thoughtful and meaningful credo statement, to the appreciation of many in the sanctuary. His delivery was rich and, surrounded by friends and family and his mentor, Dave Bessey, he has now moved on to the senior youth and adult community of the church. A big thank you to all the wonderful people who have been part of Ken's church and community life, and a HUGE congratulations to Ken.

Congratulations Ken!

I have a great deal of respect for the Unitarian Church as it was the religious home of the Transcendentalists and others who fought for Peace and Justice in our beloved Land. They influenced Mohatma Gandhi and Dr Martin Luther King and a great many others because of their great wisdom. I sincerely believe that you will uphold the great tradition that they created and wish you and your colleagues the very best!
