Baptized in Jesus name, filled w/ Holy Ghost!!


The Bible states just that! In the book of Acts, chap. 2, vs. 38 we read "And Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the Remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the Gift of the Holy Ghost"

I had always wondered if there was a God, wondered and pondered the idea if "He" could change my life. I had always greived my own conscience by the acts I had done, but, I never knew why. It always seemed natural to light a cigarette, a joint or bong, drink myself under the table, and sleep with countless women, yet I never found a joy, a real lasting joy and happiness in any of it. I was a pretending miserable fool. BUT, when I went to church that night, I was told I needed the Holy Ghost, so at the altar call, with tears in my eyes I responded to the conviction on my heart, wept and truly repented and begged for the Lord to help me. When i raised my hands into the air, they laid hands on me, and I began to feel a presence come over me, the more I yeilded the more I felt, my lip started quivering, and I actually spoke in a language I had NEVER knew before!! I am celerating this experience I have it over and over again each day!!

Congrats Man!!! Its good to know that the church is growing where you are! I experienced the same thing a couple of years ago. It ws AWESOME!!!
