Fred Baier
First Holy Communion

*** Fred Joseph Baier Celebrates First Holy Communion *** His 2nd Sacrament

Fred celebrated his First Holy Communion on May 5, 2001, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, in Oshkosh, WI., at 5:30 pm. This was a VERY SPECIAL day for Fred: he now joins the "big-people" in celebrating mass; his suit was of significance -- it was custom-tailored from his late grandfather's suit by his mother, an artistic seamtress; the celebrant of the First Communion mass was also significant: Fr. Dan Feldner, of St. Raphael's, was also the priest that helped save Fred's life as an infant 8 years ago; Fr. Dan was also Fred's "prayer-partner" for his 1st Communion preparation. Fred was joined with 14 other children who also made their First Holy Communion at this service. THANK YOU GOD, JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT, and Fr. DAN!
