The Wedding of

Elizabeth Burris and Richard Williams

We were married outside in a garden with the tears from heaven raining down on us. The ceremony was simple but elegant. As we were pronounced husband and wife the rain stopped.

We had 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen, 1 matron of honor and 1 best man, 1 ringbearer and 1 flower girl. Our colors were hunter green and a mint green. My main flower was daisy with ivy. The flower girl used bells tied together with ribbon instead of the tradional rose peddles. The vows I had written and the music was played by his sister, and sung by a really good friend.

This was a very happy and exciting day. My dad was able to walk me down the aisle. He was very sick with cancer and no one knew if he would be able too. We even had our father/daughter dance which was the song "A Song for my Daughter". What a special memory that I will treasury forever. The Bride and Grooms dance was too "At Last" by Etta James.
