Dear Lord,I know you received the Pope with open arms. I pray for the ones, that are going to miss him,and he is going to be missed,by all the good deeds, that he did. I am not Catholic, but you could see the good in him. Lord he certainly was sent by God to help mankind, and to bring peace. Lord I know he has your approval, and you have accepted him in Your Kingdom. Lord help the grief stricken to carry on as he would had wanated them too. Give them strength, peace, and comfort at this time. Lord,I didn't know him personally, but he seemed like a very Great, and Powerful Person. May he rest in peace,In Your Kingdom. Asking this prayer In Jesus Name,Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for giving Pope John Paul II to us and having him watch over us and guiding us for the past 26 years. I know he is now with You in Heaven along with all the other Angels and Saints, finally at peace. I did not want him to go just yet, but You have decided it was time to welcome him back to Your Kingdom. I miss him terribly, as with the millions of people missing hum right this moment. Give us the strength to get through our grief and make our faith even more stronger. Amen.

May humanity and its leaders, collectively and individually, embrace and practice the mindfulness, love and compassion exemplified by this pontiff. To many Buddhist with Christian roots he will be remembered as a bodhisattva – one who vows to seek enlightenment and help others do the same

My heart is saddened tonight, not only have we lost a Leader, but it feels like I have lost a Friend. Lord, please help us with our grief- you sent us a beautiful Servant who showed a new generation of Catholics how to live Our faith. I am 34 and feel blessed that Pope John Paul II represented our church. He brought Hope and Comfort to our World. He loved all people. My hope in our faith has been lifted and strengthened. We as Young Adults need to show the world that We are faithful and that we Believe in Hope. Many bridges, barriers and walls were broken in the last 26 years that are important to our future and our faith. We are compassionate people who believe in what we did not witness personally. Watch over the elderly and also the youngest members of our church as well that they can see the Faith that we have and have Hope. My memories of Pope John Paul II are many but I think over the past two days the image I will remember is the "Smiling Pope" who loved to ski, hike, be in nature and loved children and teenagers. He as I have heard was "the Rock Star" Pope. When I am 84 I hope to have as much energy and faith as he had. May all of us find the strength and comfort at this time of change. Be with the Cardinals and Clergy as they discern the new leader of Our Church. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, O most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement! O loving! O sweet Virgin Mary! Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Hail Mary, full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Dear Pope John Paul II
I know you're in heaven looking down on us and finally getting the peace and glory you deserve. Your death left me feeling bereft...After your message to the youth I was in tears because I felt that because I am a Catholic who has known no pope but you, you're the only Holy Father I know and yet when you were alive I didn't make any attempt to become close to you, even by reading your teachings. And yet now that you're gone I wish I could turn back time. I thank you for your principles, i thank you for your faith, i thank you for coming to Kenya to visit us, I thank you for your love..I thank you for being you...And even though I never showed it I love you, and you will always remain in my heart.
Rest in Peace and May Eternal Light shine upon you

Dedication to our Holy Father Upon His Death Bed

Heavenly father
God so high
Open your arms up
Take our Pope to your skies

Pope of twenty six years
Leader so great
Upon your last hour
Distressing news we await

Minister of faith
Minister of hope
Open You’re gates
To our holy Pope

Upon his last hour
The world sadly prays
For on this night we watch
For smoke to calmly blaze

On this night of sadness
Thousands sit outside your door
Dreading that you will pass
The Pope we adore

Holy God take this man
Bless him with the glory of God
Shine him upon Your world
As his life we somberly applaud

Another Dedication to Pope John Paul II

Pope John Paul ll has passed tonight
To a better place, a better light
Holy man so great and kind
Outside your door, crowds are lined

Prayers for you and your Holy bed
Lifting your name, prayers are said
Holy Pope, wonderful man
Sitting now upon God's hand

Long reigning hero of hope
Peters successor, John Paul, our Pope
Bells ring 'cross the earth
Acknowledging your names worth

Rest in peace John Paul
We'll cry for you as darkness falls
Walk with God, hand in hand
And look upon your peoples land

I saw Pope John Paul II in Philadelphia. Just being within yards of him, I felt that I was in the presence of someone extremely special and holy. He has brought together peoples from all races, ethnicities, ages, countries around the world. His gentleness, humility and compassion was overwhelming but he stood on the Word of God, and never wavered, even though he was greatly pressured to do so. He was an extraordinary person and Pope, and very courageous. He was a prayerful person even as a young teen and continued to commune with Our Lord on a very high spiritual level. He not only followed the footsteps of Christ, but he truly followed behind Christ by stepping into the footprints of Christ which was evident by his teachings, his life, his leadership, and even in the way he suffered and died. He will be missed but his influence on our church and others will last for years. Let us remember, "mercy and forgiveness." I believe those two things were so important to him and that is what he taught.

Our Holy Father, the same as Jesus, is with us always . . . in Spirit. Let us not forget that he is now in Heaven as a Great Intercessor in our lives.

Holy Father, you know the trials and tribulations of today's world and we pray that you will forever look upon us, the children of Jesus, and your brothers and sisters in ALL THAT WE PRAY.

May HEAVEN REJOICE and BE GLAD to receive ou Holy Father into the Kingdom of which we are, to as an endeavor, to enter one day.

THIS I PRAY

As a Buddhist, I must believe that things are as they should be. Perhaps the passing of John Paul II The Great has served to awaken the spiritualness in us all and reaffirm it in those of us who stray in our day to day existence in our western society. May his devotion to God be an inspiration to us all, his kindness and gentle nature proof that true strength comes from conviction of belief and not the strength of an army. I ask God in my own way to comfort those who mourn and affirm those who celebrate. We has witnessed a True Man of God.
