Dear Lord, please keep the victims in Your everlasting care. Please help their families as they mourn--that they may draw close to You.

May Allah will that the survivors of these attrocities be cared for and comforted. May Allah will that the innocent victims who have lost their lives be received into Paradise to reside therein for eternity. May Allah have mercy on us all. Ameen.

Lord, may I echo St. Francis in my prayers? Where there is hate, let us sow love. Help us, O Lord, to bring peace to the world by first bringing peace to ourselves. Please bring comfort and peace to the families of those who suffered this tragedy, and bring peace and unhardened hearts to those who perpetrated it.

I ask you this through your Son, the Prince of Peace, who died without complaint for all, and rose that we may have eternal life in Him.

May those who have been affected by this horrifying act be given solace and comfort in Spirit. May those who were lost be held in the hands of that Great One. May those who have committed this act learn to See. This is not the way.

Blessed Great Spirit, I ask this thing. May it be.

Father, bring your eternal comfort to those who lost loved ones in this tragedy and horror. Be with them and bless them. I lift up the souls who were lost and injured to You, bring healing and comfort to those still with us and welcome those who are no longer with us here into Your kingdom. Send Your Spirit to us all that we may love others as You love us. Let Your will be done.

Most benovolent creator, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen

I pray Your love and mercy helps comfort the families who lost friends and loved ones in Madrid. May Your benevolence welcome all of those 198 souls into the Creator's kingdom and may Your guidance help make all of us instruments of your peace and love.

I am heartsick at yet another horrendous act and loss of innocent lives. Please grant these precious souls your peace, comfort their grieving families, bring the perpetrators to their senses. Nothing, no grievance real or imagined, justifies this. Help us learn peace. Amen.

May God surround all who are hurt or bereaved with faith, and love, and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come in hope, with compassion, steadfastness, and patience.

Grant to your patron people of the Catholic Kingdom of España relief from their grant pains. Now and forever, throughout all troubles of terrorism, disunity, and ill will.

May Our Lord God Omnipotent Bless the victims who perished in the March 11 bombings. May He also Bless the families and the injured.
May Peace prevail in our turmoiled World.
May the Islamic militants realize that we all believe and honor One GOD Who does not condone violence in His Name but that rather He Taught through the Prophets and still Teaches us Love and Brotherhood.
May the Imams teach the true meaning of the Qu-Ran. That whoever kills in the Name of God will not go to Paradise but rather will wind up in hell.
May The Lord we call GOD, Jehovah, Allah, etc. Shed and Enlighten these poor souls who live in darkness.

Were the Madrid attacks carried out by Basque "militants" protesting the illegal occupation of their country?

Or was it Al Qaeda "militants" protesting the Spanish invasion of Iraq?

Were they militants? terrorists? freedom fighters?
