Jeffrey Mildner
Loving son 7/17/78 - 8/04/00

Jeff was 19 when diagnosed with Leukemia. He had a bone marrow transplant 6/22/00 and did not survive due to pneumonia. He gave it a courageous fight.

This is in memory of my son Jeffrey who will always live with me in my heart and sole. From the time he learned he had cancer, he was a real fighter. He loved the Lakers and many of the nurses at the City of Hope bought him a banner and shirt when they won the NBA championship last year. Jeff was also a Dodger fan. He was blessed that he had traveled in his young years. I will always be proud of him and miss him. He was baptized the day he went into ICU and I know that he is with the Lord. I know also that I will be with him again when the Lord calls me. His cousin and grandmother are with him also.

Jeff's Mom: Thank you for sharing . . . Your story is too familar, although Kristina's was a very short journey from diagnosis to leaving us - she was diagnosed on Feb 22 and died on March 15. Every day I asked the Lord to let me take her place - every day I told Kristina I would take her place. This loss is a constant struggle for understanding and acceptance - both of which I feel are a long ways off. I will keep you and Jeff in my prayers. Please stay in touch.

Jeff's Mom: I was thinking of you and your Jeff today, as I grieve for my Kristina. I woke up this morning and was immediately back in the hospital - Sunday's are usually the worst days for me. Just wanted you to know I was thinking of you and will keep you and Jeff in my prayers. Remember, they are in the arms of the Lord and he will keep them safe until we can be with them again.
Much love,
Cindy

Dear Jeff's Mom: Thank you for visiting my son Sam's memorial. It is so amazing to me how these kids are so strong to endure what they go through. I would like to e-mail you and talk about our son's bone marrow transplant. We know they are in a better place. They just beat us there.

Happy Birthday, July 17th, Jeff! You share the same birthday as my son, Robby. He would be 21 years old on this day. May God bless you and your family as they honour your birthday. I pray you soar with the angels today and every day, until we all meet up again! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEFF! Sandi (Robby's Mom)
