Benvenuta Mary Catherine and congratulations to all the Altieris! I'm a friend and associate of your aunt and I became an aunt recently, too, so I know how special nieces are. Wishing you all the best at this joyful time!

The feel of tiny fingers gripping one of mine. The trust and openness in those brand new eyes. There is nothing as miraculous as new life. Welcome, Mary Catherine.

Mary's parents report that little Mary has been "...growing at an alarming rate. She held her own formula bottle just for a minute. She's also seeing further, tracking moving objects, and reaching for things. She reached for the doggie and latched onto some fur." Mary went to church for the first time, to a service on the beach on July 2. Cindy says "Mary got a blessing and a slight sunburn at the same time."
