  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese


    Place cauliflower in a 1-1/2 quart glass baking dish, add water and cover.  Microwave on high for 8 to 9 minutes until tender crisp.  (Cauliflower also may be steamed for 10 to 15 minutes.)

    Combine mayonnaise, onion, mustard and lemon pepper and spoon onto cauliflower.  Sprinkle with cheese.  Microwave or broil for 1-1/2 to 2 minutes to heat topping and melt cheese.  Let stand for 2 minutes before serving.

    SERVES: 6 - 8
