Teaching Your Kids It’s Ok to Be Different
We live in a world of differences and contrasts but often don’t appreciate our uniqueness until we’re older. Peer pressure can keep our children from feeling that it’s ok for them to be different and that this uniqueness is what makes them special. They may have different ways of being regarding how they dress, the types of friends they choose, how they speak, the music they like etc.
You can help your child accept who they are and feel it’s OK to be different.
