Your memories of your own school experience is not your child’s experience. The moment we step back into a school environment our own memories, good or bad, oftentimes come flooding back. Whether you were the social outcast or the queen bee, let your child’s experience be their experience. What interested you, may not interest him. What worked for you, may not work for him. This is your child’s opportunity to learn and explore and figure out who they are going to be. Let them have it.
