Robbing the cradle
Believe that God reveals His will to us in hindsight. Unless you have a bag of groceries and encounter a homeless person, His intentions are seldom obvious in the moment. It had always been my intention to become a trauma surgeon, but in 1964 my practical dad squelched my dreams and said I was to be a teacher. Had he not, I would never have been in the teachers’ lounge that fateful day when my future husband walked in. Richard was there only because he had been transferred to this brand new school. I know that God blesses interfaith marriage because He worked so hard to arrange this one.
