Truth 6: Let your grief have its say. If you’ve suffered a traumatic loss and want to avoid being entranced by grief for the rest of your life, you’re going to need to get present with your grief at some point and let it speak its truth to you. Grief that hasn’t been allowed to have its say will continue to interrupt your thoughts and dictate your behavior. A good way to listen is by writing in your journal every night and reflecting on your words. Your brain needs to have clarity around your thoughts especially during a difficult time. Confusion does not help with healing.
