Smile Train has given the power of a smile to more than one million children. If you're curious, that breaks down to approximately 350 surgeries a day and 128,000 plus every year.

Millions of children are born with clefts, making it difficult to do every day things such as eating, breathing and speaking. Smile Train provides the necessary training and funding to doctors to perform cleft repair surgeries. Lives are changed and futures become brighter with the grace and will from Smile Train.

How do they do it you ask - let's take a look at the amazing heroes behind the fundraisers that make the Smile Train possible.

Baseball BBC

A donor born with cleft ran an old-time (1860-rules) baseball club. Planned a charity summer game and raised $1,385.

Catholic Daughters

Catholic Daughters of the Americas, made up of over 1,250 courts across the country, collectively have raised over $250,000 for Smile Train.

Denver Comedy

In Denver, Colorado the Smile Train Comedy Improv Festival takes place and an ST donor heads up a week long comedy Festival in Smile Train’s honor. The comedy show has raised over $20,000 in seven years.

Fun Run Sadie’s

Sadie’s Race is an Annual 5K & Kids Fun Run. The race, and other fundraising events are in memory of a young girl who passed away in 2011. Her mother hosts and plans all of these events and plans to raise one smile for every day that her daughter lived - 1,913 smiles.

Mt. Kilimanjaro

A Smile Train donor fundraised before climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Sale

A father and daughter planned a walk-a-thon and advertised by sitting outside their grocery store with ST materials and sold baked goods.

Talent Show

A company held an evening out for their employees and featured some employees in a talent show.

Volleyball

A family planned a volleyball tournament to benefit Smile Train.
