Search out the best in others. We can't choose our families, colleagues, neighbors, in-laws, and sometimes we even have friendships we can't quite cut loose for one reason or another. It's easy to run a mental complaint monologue about it. When that recording starts to play, try counteracting it with "The Thing I Like Best." Identify one thing (or more!) you can praise about that person. It will help you get off the Last Train to Annoyed-ville.
