Temple Within
David felt this, too, when he wrote this Psalm. But the place he talked about, as the “house of the Lord,” wasn’t the actual Temple in Jerusalem. The house David was referring to here was the house God has built for Himself, in each of us, in our hearts. David knew that he could escape the inertia of problems in his life only by resting in Christ and seeking to be where the Lord is. And that is what we need to do, too.
