There are approximately half a million licensed therapists in the United States. Billions of dollars are spent on therapy. Depression is the common cold of mental illness and is quite prevalent; about 17% of Americans will suffer from it at least once. We all recognize that music affects moods and can be used to sooth, inspire and/or motivate people. This is why it is used on the battlefield, supermarkets, and hospitals. We are writing this to demonstrate how Psalms can and should be used by all of us to help us get through good and bad times.
