A common household object—a mirror—can bring you face-to-face with the angel who watches over you. Place yourself in a comfortable position and open yourself to a heavenly encounter.

Sit calmly in front of a mirror, with very low light; a couple of candles.

When you are comfortable and relaxed, close your eyes.

Breathe in. Hold.

Breathe out. Hold.

Again, and again, until you are completely relaxed.

With every inhalation, you are filled with white light.

With every exhalation, you are breathing out all the stress and negativity in your life.

[Long exhale]

When you are calm, pray in whatever manner you like, asking God to help you connect with your guardian angel. Then slowly, open your eyes and see the mirror before you.

See yourself. Look into your eyes. Your face is calm.

Slowly, silently, vibrate these words as you stare into your eyes, deeper and deeper:

Self is self.
Angel, appear.
Reflection, reveal.
Make it clear.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

Self is self.
Angel, appear.
Reflection, reveal.
Make it clear.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.

Look deeper and deeper and deeper into your soul.

Slowly the reflection will change and your angel will appear.

Again, silently call to you angel.

Self is self.
Angel, appear
Reflection, reveal.
Make it clear.

Now you will see an aura about your reflection. Slowly, it glows and changes.

When this new image becomes clear, you will be looking at your guardian angel. With your heart, pray to commune with your guardian angel, to understand your true will in this life.

Open your heart with love and accept your guardian angel.

When you are done, slowly close your eyes.

Inhale. Exhale.

When you breathe in, pull your angel into your heart and hold it there.

And as you breathe out, feel all tension and negativity leave your body and go into the earth because as your angel dwells inside you, the light pulls you, dispersing all shadows.

When you are quiet and finished, thank your angel and go.
