Catholics and Their Relics
Among the many ways that Catholics celebrate their faith and enjoying a rich, deep relationship with the living God is through the veneration of relics.
Veneration is very different from worship. A Catholic would never worship a relic - nor should a Catholic use a relic superstitiously but would show great respect for the relic in that it is part of God’s witness in the world. Oftentimes miracles are associated with relics.
