Solidarity and Peace
The world sits with bated breath as we come together to celebrate the breathtaking feats of the human body. Yes, we cheer for our own countries. But we do so in a manner that exhibits solidarity and peace. We watch as the women and men accomplish things we may never do and are both inspired and filled with pride for the hard work, passion and determination it takes to religiously train for this moment. How can we not be in awe as we witness the best of the best compete? It is an experience we can share not just with as fellow countrymen and women, but as human beings.
