How are you doing with your 30-Day Fast From Fear Program?

Sometimes, just like when we’re dieting, we fall off the wagon and
allow ourselves to indulge a little. Well, when you’re fasting from
fear, you can expereince set-backs, too. That’s okay…the important
thing is to acknowledge yourself for what you are doing well and then
re-focus your attention on faith and daily right actions that are
positive and life-affirming.

One of the keys to managing our fears is to practice gratitude daily.
To help you with this, I’m officially declaring March 30th as the
beginning of Gratitude Week.

No matter how challenging your personal and financial circumstances
are, a daily gratitude practice will help keep your attention focused
on what you have to be grateful for in your life. We all have much to
be thankful for that we can overlook in the face of adversity. However,
it is exactly during our most challenging times, that we most need to
remind ourselves of the good that exists in our lives. A daily prayer
and gratitude practice can help sustain us and see us through our most
difficult times.

Remember, whatever is happening in your life is not
who you are, it is simply where you are. In time, the hard times will
fade while all that we have to be grateful for will remain…provided
we haven’t lost track of them or failed to honor and appreciate them as
the blessings they are.

Here’s what I invite you to do during Gratitude Week:

Everyday this week, begin your morning by making a list of ten things
that you are grateful for. Here is my “Top 10 Gratitude List” for today:

I am grateful and blessed by God’s love, guidance and support in my life.
I am grateful and blessed for my sweet and healthy daughter, Anjelica.
I am grateful and blessed for my loving husband, Robert.
I am grateful and blessed by my dog, Goldie (she’s actually an angel with fur!)
I am grateful and blessed by my work as a Money Coach, writer and teacher.
I am grateful and blessed by my family and friends.
I m grateful and blessed for our home and community.
I am grateful and blessed with a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Here’s a Blessing of Gratitude for today:

There is nothing I can give you
Which you do not have;
But there is much, very much, that
While I cannot give it, you can take.
No heaven can come to us unless our hearts
Find rest in today. Take heaven!
No peace lies in the future which is not hidden
In this present instant. Take peace!
The gloom in the world is but a shadow.
Behind it, yet within reach, is joy.
There is a radiance and glory in the darkness,
Could we but see.
And to see, we have only to look.
I beseech you to look.

Peace and Blessings!
