Due to pressing commitments — a wedding, a music gig, a poopstorm of other activities — we weren’t able to make it to church this last weekend. But never fear! We aren’t going to let you down this week, dear RSS feed reader. Tonight we’ll make up for our absence with a trip to the Portland Buddhist Temple, the local outpost of the World Buddhist Preaching Association. We browsed the lovely grounds the other day and came up with a few shots like you see above. A perfect setting for quiet meditation. Tonight we’ll go back to take advantage of their particular brand of silence. As a matter of fact, we’re headed out the door — just as soon as I can find my Corn Nuts and a bag of Werther’s Originals.
