Actions Speak

The Bible says, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds” (Matthew 5:16, NIV). People may not necessarily hear your words, but they are certainly going to observe your life. For example, I can tell my children all day long how they are supposed to act and what they are supposed to do, but the truth is that they are going to do whatever they see me doing. When they grow up, they are going to model their lifestyles and their relationships after what they have experienced and observed. That is why it is so important to live as a positive example for your children and family. You paint a picture with your actions, and your children put their own frame around it. Make the decision to paint a picture that your children will be proud to frame! No matter what’s happened in the past, it’s never too late to change the picture you’ve been creating. Jesus can wipe your canvas clean so that you can create vision and purpose in your home that can be passed down for generations to come.

Maybe you don’t have children of your own, but perhaps there are other children in your life. Tell your nieces, nephews and your friends’ children how important they are. Your words of faith in them will be a great deposit in their futures. Your actions speak, and you never know what can happen when you affect just one life.

Today, remember that your life is significant. You are a part of God’s eternal plan. You have a pivotal role to play in history. Don’t ever underestimate the power of your actions. Be bold today and follow whatever God has placed in your heart. You may not be in the spotlight, but you will be rewarded for every good deed, for every person you encourage, for every act of kindness. When your actions speak to the heart of just one person, you are building a legacy of faith for future generations!

It's Time For Some "First Times"
One time at church, I was talking to a college student. She was about to take a very important final exam. She asked, "Joel, would you pray that God will help me make a C on this test?" What To Wear Today
If you're like me, when you wake up in the morning, you start thinking about your day—where you'll be going, who you'll be seeing, and what the weather will be like. Then you go to your closet and choose something to wear that will work for all those different scenarios. But there's one thing that

Stay On Winning Side
Right before Jesus was arrested and taken to the cross, He had a conversation with one of his disciples, Peter. He said, "Peter, you are going to deny me three times tonight." But Peter loved Jesus and refused to believe it, "No way! I would never deny You. I'll stand by You 'til the end!" Sure enou

Thank God For Generational Blessings
We can all look back through our family lines and see how our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and others in our family history have affected our lives. Sometimes people see negative things that have been passed down, but the blessing of God is passed down as well. In fact, Exodus 20:6 says
