Universal Orlando Resort is preparing for its 14th annual Rock The Universe festival this weekend where fans can expect to see yet another quality lineup of Christian music’s finest bands.

On Friday, September 9th, the event will be headlined with Switchfoot and David Crowder Band along with supporting acts Anberlin, Grits, Family Force 5, Rhema Soul and Hyland. On Saturday, September 10th, Rock The Universe will welcome Casting Crowns, Third Day and Relient K, along with Red, Tenth Ave North, Brandon Heath and Live Fish.

For Casting Crowns lead singer Mark Hall, it’s yet another opportunity to connect with the people that his band is blessed to impact nationwide.

“It’s pretty humbling to see that God’s letting us be a part of what He’s doing in somebody’s life,” Hall says. “That’s pretty awesome.”

In addition to the music, there will be a brand new “Fan Zone” for this year’s festival, a nightly candle lighting service (featuring Casting Crowns on Saturday), plus three Sunday morning worship services on September 11, featuring speaker Jeff Pratt and worship from the Seth Medley Band.
