jesus walking on water
When we focus our eyes on God, instead of focusing on our problems, it relieves a lot of stress. Satan often wants us to focus on the issues and stress over them. He wants to steal our joy as often as he can.  The important thing is to remember that he can and will disappear from you if you speak the name of Jesus and pray over your problems. All you have to do is speak the name of Jesus and tell Satan to get away from you. At the name of Jesus, he will flee.
1st Corinthians 7:5 says, 5 “Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”
John 10:10 says, “Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”
James 4:7 “7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Romans 16:20 says, “20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.”
1 Peter 5:9 says, 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”
Ephesians 6: 11-16: says, “11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. “
The Lord is always with you no matter where you are, or what you may be doing. No matter what you may be facing, He has always prepared a way out of every situation. Don’t focus on how stressed you are and allow Satan to take hold of your life. Once you do that you are quickly on the road to many more problems, both physical, emotionally and mentally. It can easily creep into your mind that everything in your life is becoming too much for you to handle. That isn’t the case. You have power within you that is greater than even imaginable. The power of prayer and the power of Jesus working in your heart, soul and your mind. If you allow Jesus to enter your heart, soul and mind, amazing things will start to happen. You’ll feel more at peace, you’ll have a better attitude about everything in life, even when difficult obstacles arise.  When those difficulties come, God always gives you a way out. You may not see the end or the storm clouds break right away, but trust me, He will always make a way when there seems to be no way. Remember, God and Jesus wouldn’t give you anything you can’t handle and He will never let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, either. He knows exactly what things need to happen in your life.
Even though life is hard and there will always be problems, it is important to see the silver lining. The silver lining that prayer always offers you. There is nothing better than to start praying over a situation instead of venting about it. Often times you will find that instant sense of peace as soon as you pray over anything in your life that is or may be, causing you stress. It even says in John 14:27: “peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”   Jesus saved you on the cross because He loves you dearly. He loves you so much that He took your place and the punishment that you deserve on Himself.
Remember that you’re God’s child and He loves you more than anyone else ever could. No matter what happens in your life, Jesus has you in the palm of His hands. As long as you keep your eyes on Him, and let Him have control over your life, things won’t seem nearly as bad.
