Americans are more interested in their wallets than any other item in their house.  They shop on Sundays because they work the other 6 days (including Mom), balancing their shrinking checkbooks instead of going to church (and who’d ever think of tithing in these hard times!), they play golf (they deserve to relax, after all), the watch TV – especially during football season, they go to the  soccer field to watch little Joey kick the ball (I know this for a fact, I see them on the way to our church).  So God is judging where it hurts the unfaithful, irreligious Americans the most.  Right in the wallet.  Read this article about the dollar plummeting that I found recently.  Are you thinking it might be a good idea to open up your Bible and read II Chronicles 7:14?  Here is what it says!  “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” Now, please think about doing it — R E P E N T I N G  with humility!  Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved!  ▬  Donna Calvin, the Word Warriorette

 

Gold Rises to Record, Silver Surges, Dollar Plummets

Gold futures rose to a record for the third straight day on bets that the dollar will extend a slump, enhancing the allure of the metal as an alternative asset. Silver headed for the biggest monthly gain in 28 years.

The greenback headed for the fifth consecutive monthly decline against a basket of six major currencies. The Federal Reserve signaled this week that borrowing costs will remain at a record low for an extended period. Gold headed for the biggest monthly gain since November 2009.
