I read the comments I get at this Watchwoman on the Wall blog and they are very important to me.

Why?

I truly care about you, my fellow human beings, not only because you have come to Watchwoman, but because I would like to see every one of you in heaven one day where we can meet face to face.  I’d like to give you a Holy Kiss.

[1 Thessalonians 5:26]  Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. [KJV]

Today, I read a comment from Patrick Sheridan, a good man, left at a post I made entitled . . . “Drugs Kill – Whitney Houston, slowly dying for years

Directly below, I am displaying Patrick’s comment because it could mean the difference between living eternally in joy with God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit or missing God’s glorious heaven of perfect peace and joy.

Patrick’s comment moved me deeply and that is why I replied to him and why  I am posting this in a separate item.

It means so much to all of mankind.

It is what we all need to know.  THE TRUTH.

Whitney Houston

There has been much negativity when talking about Whitney Houston I believe from the Catholic perspective she should be remembered in a positive light. She was more than “just an addict”A person is much more than just the way how and why they died. My wife and I both were sad when we heard the news of the death of Whitney Houston. I think for many of us who went to Middle School, High School, College in the 80′s and 90′s she was the anti Madonna. Her lyrics were clean, she did not mock the Catholic Church, her songs were always up lifting and often Christian. The film the “Preacher’s wife” was a Pro Christian and Pro marriage film.Even as her personal failings got the best of her and her life and career started to crumble around her she continued to keep her lyrics clean and continued to thank her “Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” .The most important thing to remember she was one of the few entertainers who took a stand for the unborn. Please read the post from“Rock For Life” group of Pro-life Rock Bands

Whitney Houston’s pro-life song, Miracle
by Erik Whittington

These are two comments left at her video on youtube

“I wanna thank Whitney for singing this song, If it wasn’t for this song I would have been dead. My mother would’ve of had an abortion with my twin sister and I. My mother listened to this song and changed her mind and she kept my sister and I, and because of Whitney Houston my mother named me Whitney. RIP”

“I prayed to God to let the blessing inside of me live to be strong and healthy. My husband wasn’t acting right and I just prayed during my pregnancy. My mom lived in another state, she called almost everyday. I loved Whitney since the very first album and this song was on repeat. In 1994, my son was born, I named him Chris, he is the love of my life. Thank you Whitney for everything, never forgotten. Peace”

I also think of what the late Henry Hyde ( who had is own personal issues) said

Fulton Sheen - Died-December-9-1979-aged-84

“When the time comes as it surely will, when we face that awesome moment, the final judgment,I’ve often thought, as Fulton Sheen wrote, that it is a terrible moment of loneliness. You have no advocates, you are there alone standing before God and a terror will rip through your soul like nothing you can imagine. But I really think that those in the pro-life movement will not be alone. I think there will be a chorus of voices that have never been heard in this world but are heard beautifully and clearly in the next world and they will plead for everyone who has been in this movement. They will say to God, “Spare him because he loved us, ” and God will look at you and say not, “Did you succeed?” but “Did you try? ”

Finally I ask that you watch “I Look to You” Whitney Houston
on youtube I think you will find it moving

Patrick, You are right in many of the aspects about which you write. Unfortunately God remembers all acts, good and sinful, each and every one of them, and unless the evil ones are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, we will find ourselves in serious trouble in eternity. Unfortunately, being a good righteous worker in the pro-life movement, while I strongly urge every one to be one, it will not save one person from the pits of hell’s flames. A religion cannot save you. An organization cannot save you or me. Good works, no matter how good and righteous will be counted as filthy rags compared to the righteousness of God! Isaiah was a good man, yet he wrote about himself …

[Isaiah 64:6] But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.[KJV]

Whoa! I am certain that I am not as good as Isaiah and he knew he was doomed, that his good works could not save him!

We all SHALL be accountable for every act, whether they were sins of commission or omission or deeds of kindness and goodness.

For the blessed who are fortunate enough to confess Jesus Christ as their Lord, Savior, Master, Redeemer, their propitiation for their sins, and the ONLY WAY to the Father in Heaven, they will receive Crowns in heaven for their good deeds done for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God and His Will to be accomplished on earth.

Even St. Paul knew that his works couldn’t possibly “save” him. He knew he couldn’t keep the Law 100% righteously 100% of the time and that he fell short.

No human being can be 100% perfect.

Read this carefully, Patrick!

[Ephesians 2:8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

[Ephesians 2:9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

[Ephesians 2:10] For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. [KJV]

Resurrection of Christ by Noel Coypel, 1700

The only one who was perfect is Jesus Christ.

This I know for certain and Who is responsible for gaining my entrance into the Throne Room of God is Jesus Christ.

I know that I am grateful that Jesus Christ died for my sins; that I am saved, redeemed, forgiven and pardoned of all my sins, past, present and future by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ shedding His Blood that Jesus Christ made on Calvary.

What better season to recall His Love for us than during Lent and right before Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday.

I hope that Whitney was born again and saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. I don’t know???

This I do know with 100% certainty. Whitney knows now if she was saved by the shed blood of Jesus Christ or if she was a phony. I hope she was truly saved and is singing her praise for our Lord God Almighty and that someday, Patrick, you too will find the peace of Jesus Christ, if you have not already that will settle it all for you, where you will one day be able to join the heavenly chorus singing praises to Our Lord God Almighty.

Fulton Sheen must have never read this scripture, Patrick, — saying that only the UNSAVED face the Holy God alone.

[1 John 2:1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous [KJV].

What joy to know that true believers who are truly saved will not have to stand alone, terrified before a Holy God who cannot bear to look at sinful mankind. True believers who have confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior have an ADVOCATE and HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST.

Even today, Patrick, as you stumble through your life, Jesus Christ is praying and beseeching and interceding on your behalf before the Holy Father in Heaven — if you are born again.

Read the Gospel of John, Chapter 3, until it makes sense. If you have any doubt about your salvation being secure for all time, for all of your today’s and tomorrow’s — and for all of eternity, please visit …

Please, Patrick, do not count on any rescued baby who was saved from the painful and horrible death by the hands of bloody baby-killing abortionists to save you or anyone else.

Do not count on the cries of those who were wantonly murdered by the hands of the most evil of all in bloody killing centers across the lands begging for your redemption and entrance into heaven for trying to save them.

I am sure they would if they could, but they cannot.

It matters not one iota what you think about the matter, it has never been deigned by God Almighty to be in their power to accomplish this Supreme Act of Salvation.

God, the Law Giver, the Judge of the Universe and all of mankind,  and that God alone is the One Who Makes All the Rules and carries out the Judgment.

Jesus and the Virgin Mary

Patrick, as much as I wish I could agree with you to inspire more people to come into the pro-life army, I cannot.  No baby, except for the One Born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by The Holy Spirit, the Only Begotten Son of God, can accomplish that Supreme Act.

There is ONLY ONE who can do what you hope to be done by other babies.  HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST.  He is the only Savior and that is THE TRUTH!

[John 3:16]  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Patrick, I pray for you that one day, you and I shall meet in heaven and that we can see each other eye to eye, living eternally in Christ Jesus!

May the Holy God of the Bible grant you salvation and a peace about where you will spend eternity. May He grant you the peace of Jesus Christ, a peace that passes all understanding.

[Philippians 4:7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. [KJV]

Patrick,
I pray for you: May you find the truth about good works and good organizations and good churches not being able to save your eternal soul, but only through the grace of the shed blood of Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your personal Lord and Savior. Let it be done in the Name of Jesus Christ and may it be done for God’s Glory and Honor.
Amen.
