God is on The Throne!

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With all my heart, I believe that God is Still on His Throne and when things go haywire, this is all any one us of have to hang onto.
“The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.” Psalm 93:1-2
At times we might feel totally flustered…scared…confused…don’t know which way to turn…when we see the cities and towns all over the world, all throughout America, and even right here in your own town reported about nightly on the news, telling the stories of those evildoers who are so polluted with sin they do unspeakable crimes, full of rotted moral decay, torture and murders, man’s inhumanity to man, commonplace in our morally corrupt society, the atheistic view of creation taught in schools, while the Ten Commandments, The Holy Bible, and prayer is forbidden, the “separation of church and state” is proclaimed by the Constitutionally ignorant and untaught, the lack of spirituality in people in the churches, rampant abortion, any one could be tempted to feel despair, but I can only say to myself…
God is still on the throne and He is in charge.
Holding onto that doctrine and belief is our only salvation and refuge.
We can believe and it is our only way to take heart and face the world boldly and with courage.
GOD HAS NOT FALLEN OFF HIS THRONE!!
[Psalms 46:10] Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
We can let Him handle things. “The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.” Psalm 99:1
God is capable of taking care of things. We simply need to just take care of our relationship with Him and the things He would have us to be doing.
Nothing that is happening is escaping His watchful eye. “He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?” Psalm 94:9
“For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.” Job 34:21
“The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.” Psalm 11:4
“He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.” Psalm 66:7
“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” 2 Chronicles 16:9
You and I do not have the job of worrying about things. You and I do not have the job of fixing the world. You and I do not have to fear the things of this world. You and I are to take comfort in the fact that God loves us. All we have to do is simply find out just how much He loves us and open ourselves to receive His mercy, His blessings, His forgiveness and be filled with that love.
You and I are not on the earth by accident. He has a place for you and me, a job for us, a future for us. We can find out our place because we have the mind of Christ. [1 Corinthians 2:16] For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
We can rest in the protection He provides.
“How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.” Psalm 36:7
“He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.” Psalm 62:2
“Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.” Psalm 71:3
“But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.” Psalm 94:22
“The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.” Psalm 34:7
“For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5
I know we are not alone. God has not forsaken us. Yes, mankind has turned God’s world upside down, but God is still in control. He gives each of us free will. Some choose to do the wrong things. You have your own free will. I choose to believe — but Lord, help my unbelief.
God be with you and if He is not, may you find Him today!
[Isaiah 55:6] Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
