Watchwoman on the Wall

Jim Quinn

Here are some updates, in case you missed any of this week’s shows:

Presidential Candidates were the talk of the week.

Mike Huckabee – OUT
Donald Trump – OUT
Ron Paul – IN
Newt Gingrich – IN

However, Newt Gingrich’s run for the President may be the shortest we’ve ever seen. His comments over the weekend, when talking about Obama-care, put him in the dog house with Republicans. He said there should be a “requirement” when it comes to health care. Uh, also known as “mandate.” He didn’t slip that one past us. He also attacked Paul Ryan. Quinn & Rose has warned us: Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney (more on him below) are nothing but RINOs.

Then, mid-week, Newt Gingrich was being attacked by David Gregory, for calling Obama the “Food Stamps President.” As Rose pointed out, Newt can give strong responses to criticism, and he defended himself against this one.

Then, there’s Mitt Romney. Romney just can’t seem to separate himself from his Massachusetts health care. We had an XM caller from Massachusetts, letting us know first-hand the perils that have come from it. Rose gave some startling numbers about Massachusetts. An average wait for a doctor in Massachusetts is 44 days. We can’t afford to have Mitt Romney as the nominee.

With Mike Huckabee out of the race, it frees up a bunch of Social-Conservative votes, and we couldn’t be happier. Nice guy, but not Presidential material.

Rose stressed that we’re looking for a candidate with a plan. Simple as that. A plan that’s tangible. Some of the names we like are Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann. Though, Bachmann hasn’t confirmed her run for the Presidency. She’s expected to make an announcement in June. And we certainly hope she runs.

If Michele Bachmann runs, we can be certain that the media will rip her apart, as Rose pointed out. The media has already had a hayday with bashing her and making fun of her, and equally as harmful, they’ve ignored her.

Last week, Rose appeared on Sean Hannity’s TV show on the Fox News Channel, as part of his panel!

Please join Rose for some more upcoming appearances!

Last month, there was a local police officer in Pittsburgh that was shot at 3 times, during a home invasion. They’re having a Pancake Breakfast for Officer James Kuzak, tomorrow, Saturday, May 21st. It goes from 8am till 12pm, at St. David’s Church in Peter’s Township. Kevin Gryboski, former MLB Pitcher, will be there! For ways to donate, check out the Appearances page of

Make your fellow Conservative, that’s stuck in traffic with you, laugh with an “SOL” bumper sticker! (Or, anger the Liberals. Both are encouraged).

Expect the stories to keep coming in, especially regarding GOP Candidates! Tune in next week, for your next installment of Quinn & Rose.
