Can someone tell me where I took this picture?



It is right after some photos that I took in S. Bartolomeo all’Isola, but I am not sure if it was in there or not. It is involves a bishop and Charity, but I don’t remember the details.

Sant’Agostino, Rome, _St Thomas of Villanova Distributing Alms_ by Melchiorre Caffà, completed by his Ercole Ferrata. Although clearly in the Baroque Age and in the Baroque style, I wonder if his art anticipates the Rococo. St. Thomas was an Augustinian, and this is the order’s church in Rome.
