There are a few Catholic exhibitors at CBA, and I’m sure more than a few Catholic attendees as well – spotted one sister in full-length habit today, drilling some purveyor of digital music something-or-other about his products. A subtle side glance at her name tag told me nothing and since stopping, putting on my reading glasses and craning to read it would be too obvious, I let my ‘satiable curiosity go unsatisfied. The Catholics, to my knowledge, are OSV, St. Mary’s Press, Catholic Book Publishing, John Michael Talbot and, the very, very popular booth (always in the same spot on the floor, no matter where the show is held – on the end, with lots of room for people to gather) –

Abbey Press, which of course, has its share of items with high Cutsey Quotients, but also has some nice monk-produced art, some of which is being signed here by Real Live Monks, who always seem very well-received at the show.
