I’m leaving for Birmingham around 12:23, getting there around 3:30. On to EWTN, dinner, do the show, then hop in the car I’ll rent and drive to Knoxville. Yup.

Get to my dad’s house around 12:30 am, I hope. The next day, it’s off to Christopher’s graduation from UT, where I’ll also see David, my second oldest, who will be down along with his dad from Virginia to witness the event.

Go to graduation, lunch, back in plane to here, just in time to see the first of this weekend’s gala performance of Bye-Bye Birdie.

Oh, and David graduates from college this weekend, also. He’s not walking through the ceremony, but he’ll get his props anyway. It actually worked out well for me to do Life on the Rock tonight – it gets me down that way, at least.

Expect maudlin posts about having my two oldest sons graduate from college…soon.
