From a reader, on an important upcoming vote:

The Delaware House of Representatives is going to vote on January 12th on a bill authorizing biotech firms to clone for experimental but not reproductive purposes, thereby allowing embryonic stem cell research (and funding) in Delaware. The Senate passed it last summer. This is the showdown and the next few days are crucial.
Since last summer, it has been discovered that a video shown by the pro side misrepresented what was being shown (those "rat videos" keeps turning up – from Australia in 2002 to Delaware in 2005!) but little has been made of it by the press. Powerful forces are in favor of the bill. The diocese is opposed to the bill and the Bishop testified against it last summer and organized prayer in Dover (our capitol).
Perhaps, some of your readers would join us in prayer during these next 9 days or so.There is a website (www.aroseandaprayer.org) and the Diocese has info at http://www.cdow.org. Delawareans could even register that they are praying and could call their representative.
