Last Sunday, I served at all three morning Masses at historic St. Patrick’s (the indult parish), downtown on Camp St. in New Orleans. Very sparse attendance, mostly cops, but I was determined to help make things as normal as possible. I regret that neither I nor the priest who’s temporarily in residence knew how to ring the steeple bells, but shall see to it that this coming Sunday everyone for miles around will know that the Holy Sacrifice is being offered at St. Patrick’s.
