I’ll let you know whenever we’re going out of town and where we’re going over the next few months –

So you don’t go there

Why? Because, when we go places, the power has a habit of going out.

We were in Cleveland, stuck in a very hot and very dark Residence Inn, on August 14, which was the day of the Great Northeastern Blackout. And last night, we were in Covington, at a very dark (but not very hot – but dark was bad enough) Courtyard because some transformer had blown – it wasn’t nearly as bad as Cleveland was, because it was just in a couple-of-block area and just for a couple of hours, so we could leave and have someplace electrified to go (Newport Landing, or whatever it’s called) – but, I have to admit – it was strange.

So return to keep posted and plan accordingly. Or just always pack a flashlight.
