Had a busy, fragmented day … write stuff, write something else, be on the radio, go to the grocery store, be on the radio again, prepare books for shipping, go to the post office, fix dinner, walk….

etc.

But it’s good to get the fragmented stuff done in one day. Sort of the way I used to feel when I had more busy kids at home, and we’d have a couple of practices, a lesson, and an appointment in one three-hour span of time. Better to get all the pain over in one day than spread it out over several. Same thinking as the sleepover principle below.

I still have three different kinds of work to do this week and two more interviews, but got off to a good start today. Even though my good news of Friday (big order) resulted in almost really bad news (no books left to sell in Toledo on the 29th! No books at all until May 4!), with a slight reprieve (1 case of books leftover from NCEA! They’re mine!).

It’s a roller coaster, I tell ya.
