…have not been reading N.T. Wright for the past three months, as the right rail indicates. I’ve been reading other things, but not as much as I should. Mostly novels. Mostly 20th century novels with Catholic sensibilities. Short ones, long ones, turgid ones, luminous ones. All out of print – so no Amazon links to share.

And work? Well, I’m currently working on a devotional project, due in a few weeks, which explains my lack of deep spiritual thoughts here. But after that, and one more much shorter project, I’m done for a good while with that kind of writing. To put it bluntly: In the past year, I’ve written four books. None of them War and Peace, grant you, but four books is four books. Plus other stuff. Time for a break from the deadline grind.
