When does life begin? It’s a pretty fundamental question with huge implications. Obviously I am on the side that says life begins at conception. The secular left typically believes that life begins at birth. The ethical, moral, political and cultural ramifications of this question are enormous. But what exactly does modern science say about when life begins? The May issue of Discover magazine explores this question in an article called “The Good Egg.” They offer some some rather surprising answers. Viable life may actually begin well before conception.
