My husband likes to laugh at my oft-expressed “hatred” for various people. He says I hate everyone. I don’t. Really. But I do hate most of the people I see on television (okay, you know, not as individuals, because God is Love, but as figures, which is when I am moved to express it. Local news people are the worst. I can’t watch the local news for two minutes, trying really hard to keep my mouth shut, but eventually walking away, mumbling “I hate them.” Morning “news” show people come in second, no matter whether it’s the broadcast networks or cable – I HATE those Fox and Friends people with their cheery visages after reporting more death and destruction and the blonde’s gams thrust up in our faces. Okay, I said it. Don’t hate me. But if you have to, okay. I’ll understand, really.

Now, ha, Michael admits that he hates someone, too!

And for far better reasons than I.
